The Ford Galaxie was a full-size car built in the United
States by the Ford Motor Company for model years
1959 through 1974. The name was used for the top
models in Ford’s full-size range from 1959 until 1961,
in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement
surrounding the Space Race. Some Galaxies were
high-performance, racing specification machines, a
larger forebear to the muscle car era. The 1967 had
great styling, and actually had great similarity in
appearance to the 1967 Fairlane. These big Fords
were built Ford tough and designed to withstand the
harsh conditions of any road. These also made a
place in the heart of Ford performance enthusiasts
with the many performance offerings. The Body of
this 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 is solid; no rust holes.
Does not run, missing some engine parts. The owner
has all missing parts in a complete motor, which is
included. Its a hard to find 2 door fastback with
factory air and not after market. Has a 352 c.i.d V-8
motor. All the glass is clear, has no cracks or fogged
up. No dents on the body . The Interior does need to
be redone, but the dash is in great condition. This is
a great classic and is a great buy at this price.
