2006 Heartland 3400RL Bighorn, 36 feet, 3 slides, Some of the regular maintenance we have done in the past six months includes: replacing the refrigerator cooling unit, replacing all four tires, replacing all the plastic vent covers on the roof and caulking the roof and treating the rubber roof. I have treated and caulked the roof twice yearly as standard maintenance. The awning is less than two years old. I do not smoke and have never had pets in the camper.
There are three slides and the two in the living area oppose one another which really opens it up. The bedroom has a king size bed. The original mattress left much to be desired in the way of comfort, so we added a 4 inch memory foam mattress. The Bighorn has a central heating and air unit, but I decided to add an additional air conditioner in the bedroom. It makes those hot summer days very comfortable. In addition there is an electric fireplace in the living room for cold winter days when a little extra heat is needed along with the central gas furnace.
All in all, the camper is very cozy regardless of the season. The couch makes out into a full size bed. The camper has an immense amount of storage inside as well as in the compartments below the living area. Iis very roomy and comfortable. Most people are surprised when they step inside to see how wide open it feels.
