The Ford Model A was the second huge success for the Ford Motor Company after its predecessor the Model T. First produced on October 20, 1927, it replaced the Model T which had been produced for 18 years. This new Model A was designated a 1928 model and was available in four standard colors. By the 4th of February 1929 one million Model A’s had been sold. By March of 1930 Model A sales hit three million and there were nine body styles available. This particular example is a 2 door coupe that was optioned with a rumble seat and a 2-tone paint scheme which was Kewanee Green over Apple Green with Stone Gray running boards and fenders. It shows 69,539 miles which is believed to be correct and is very original. It was frame off restored about 20 years ago. The restoration has held up incredibly well with the exception of the paint starting to show a little of its age and some minor surface rust on the bottom side. Everything is working properly and the vehicle is in need of nothing but a new home. All said and done we would consider this to be a solid # 2 vehicle and would appraise it at $23,205. We are serious about selling and have priced this accordingly so if you like what you see don’t wait until it is too late to call!
